Dr
Michael P Friedman, DC |
| After obtaining
a kinesiology degree from York University
in Toronto, where he grew up, and
a Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker
College of Chiropractic in Dallas,
Dr. Michael Friedman brought his
passion to Vancouver. He opened his
own practice, a small office that
would grow into his vision of something
bigger. His desire to provide integrative
healing to the community eventually
led him to open his own multi-purpose
health facility, the Sequoia Wellness
Centre, which he ran with his wife,
Elizabeth, a registered holistic
nutritionist. |
| |
| Inspired
by the incredible changes in people's
health under chiropractic care Dr
Friedman completed post graduate
training in Veterinary
Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) and
has since been treating animals at
the Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital
Dr. Friedman has since witnessed
many of the same benefits in his
four legged patients. |
|
| |
| He recognizes his responsibility
to give back to the world and volunteers locally
-- for organizations such as SOS Children's Village
BC and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
-- as well as overseas -- in places like Israel,
with the Israeli equivalent of the Red Cross,
and in Peru, setting up chiropractic clinics
for those without access to proper health care. |
| |
| After some serious thought, Dr. Friedman has decided to move to Ottawa to be closer to family. It is with great confidence that he has chosen Dr. Armstrong to take over the care of his patients.
